    Answer:
    If we stick to the marriage-only strategy that day will not come for another 30-40 years. So, if I live to see it happen, I am now 57, I will say that this long wait would have been cut in half if we had been strategically smart and gone for domestic partnerships first. Yes, marriage equality will be reached much, much sooner if we first achieve domestic partnerships. I have been working on same-sex marital rights since 1983.
